HE’s Always There (1998) was the album that started it all. Born out of the unfortunate news of my only son, Steven “Cornell” Adams Jr (1990-2000) (RIP), being diagnosed with Neuroblastoma cancer at 5 years old (1995). It was definitely one of the most trying times in my life. While going through the pain, acceptance, uncertainty and challenges I found healing, comfort and fortification through the music I’ve been singing all my life. However, this time, it wasn’t for others, it was primarily to help me get through. Some were songs I’ve heard and loved for years. Some were original songs I wrote while experiencing various aspects of good and bad news during the ordeal. Each song on this album have a special place in my heart and journey! It’s my desire that they bring encouragement, peace, comfort, hope and whatever you need for your journey!
